- THURSDAY MORNING UPDATE:
- Edmonton police say three of the five people arrested in that crime spree on Tuesday—are teenagers.
Everything started that afternoon–with a possible home invasion and kidnapping of two men–who say they were taken at gunpoint—from a place on 106th Avenue and 123rd Street.
They later escaped.
Staff-Sgt Bill Clark says that appears to have been a drug deal “gone bad.”
That same night—the vehicle involved in that first incident was spotted—and it apparently met up with an SUV that had been carjacked from a woman in Fort Saskatchewan….
While they were both racing along Manning Drive—there was a road rage incident with another vehicle—and the 38-year old man behind the wheel was shot:
“Homicide section was called in because we do not expect the innocent motorist to survive his injuries. He’s on life support in hospital.”
Police say ALL of the suspects—-are “well known” to them.
