A weather bomb is slamming into the US east coast this afternoon, with heavy snow, rain and a very strong wind. Some residents along the coast near Boston are now trapped inside their homes, after water washed over sea walls and into their yards. Meanwhile, as the storm moves north, temperatures are dropping turning much of that water into ice. The storm is also expected to slam into the Maritimes, where high winds are already blasting Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. From space, the storm looks like a hurricane.
