An Ottawa company called “BeaverTails Canada”—has told a Calgary food blogger—to stop using the word “beaver” in one of her recipes.
Julie VanRosendaal has, in the past—-featured a recipe for the pastry we all know as “Beaver Tails.”
But “BeaverTails Canada” says its too much like their trademark—and could wind up confusing customers…
So—now she’s calling it the “Canadian Semi-Aquatic Rodent Posterior Doughnut.”
