We’ve got another food recall in the country.
This time—-Maple Leaf is recalling its frozen chicken breast strips—because they might have a toxin thats produced by Staph-bacteria.
Here’s the problem—-the strips probably wont look or even smell like they’re bad….and that particular toxin–doesnt disappear just because you’ve cooked the strips.
Some people have gotten sick.
Symptoms include the usual GI stuff, plus headaches, muscle cramps and changes to your heart rate and blood pressure.
Throw it out–or take it back where you got it.
The possibly contaminated chicken is sold in an 840-gram box with a best before date of Sept. 29, 2018 and has the UPC 0 63100 03089 6.
