Remember the stem-cell “swab events” that were held back in March—to hopefully find a match to help an Edmonton boy who’s got a form of leukemia?
Thousands of people turned out—in the hopes of helping.
And it turns out—-they found a match—but we wont know who that person is—because donor information is private.
8-year old Brady Mishio actually had the transplant done in Calgary—and he’s now at the Stollery Childrens Hospital.
His dad says he’s doing ” as well as can be expected.” (photo credit—CTV)
