The crews battling the wildfire in southern Alberta—got a small hand from Mother Nature yesterday.
Temps cooled down—AND there was a bit of rain—-which they’ve been praying for.
The fire is now 44-thousand hectares—and still “out of control.”
Claren Gopp-LaRoque is a rancher in the region–and told CTV being forced away from your home—is rough:
“Seriously concerning. We didnt just leave a place behind–we left our hearts behind–and we’ll have to work with that. “
So far five homes, some outbuildings and powerlines have burned down.
