Just some frightening pictures out of Wateron Lakes National Park in southern Alberta—as that huge wildfire continues to burn.
Its now TWICE the size of Red Deer—-and more people have been forced to evacuate.
But the Waterton townsite is still there-and Natalie Fey with Parks Canada told CTV they really need to thank the fire crews.
There was a steady stream of trucks yesterday –pulling full livestock trailers out of the region—as farmers and ranchers were moving their animals to a safer location…. One farmer had already lost his house, barn and arena…..and the visitor centre in Waterton Park –burned down yesterday.
