Going to be busier than usual in Edmonton this week—as the Alberta Indigenous Games take place.
More than 1-thousand kids are taking part this year–a huge jump from the last time the sporting event happened a couple of years ago.
Organizers say they had lowered the registration fee—thereby making it a lot more affordable for those taking part.
And while its called the Indigenous games—-its actually designed to bring Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth together–in a number of sporting events.
Games are on til Thursday—-right across Edmonton.
