An event designed to bring awareness and maybe a little fundraising money towards PTSD–is heading through Alberta this week.
The “Rolling Barrage” started earlier this month in Newfoundland—and motorcycle enthusiasts have been joining and dropping off at various points along the way.
Rob Truscott says riders will be in Lloydminster tomorrow (tuesday)–riding to Edmonton Wednesday–then to Jasper—-and onto BC later in the week:
“Its paying a bit of homage to World War –Vimy Ridge–this year being the 100th anniversary. The rolling barrage is a term used for the artillery that they were using to keep forging ahead. The infantry was behind it. Using that across Canada–the motorcycles are constantly moving—-east to west.”
The fundraiser will help veterans and first responders conquer the stigma of PT-SD.
